GeoHealth group
I lead the Geospatial Statistics and Health Surveillance research group at KAUST - a team of postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers focused on statistical methodology and its applications. Since I started my group three years ago, I have mentored one Ph.D. student who progressed to a postdoctoral position and two postdoctoral researchers who now work as a climate and health data scientist and as a junior professor of statistics. I also have supervised 16 students visiting from other universities during short-term projects.
